Getting started

Getting started with Telden

This guide walks you through a complete first-run workflow: from creating your workspace to exporting compliant product safety records. Follow each step and you will have a working compliance pipeline in under an hour.

Operational tooling, not legal advice

Telden is an operational product-safety record tool. It helps you assemble, structure, and maintain compliance dossiers. Telden does not provide legal advice on whether your records satisfy specific regulatory requirements. Always involve a qualified compliance professional for final review.

1

Create your workspace

Sign up at telden.eu and create a workspace. Your workspace is your team's private environment — all SKUs, documents, and settings live inside it. Trial workspaces come with demo data so you can explore the product immediately.

Workspace names can be changed later in Settings. Invite team members from the Settings > Team page once you are ready to collaborate.

2

Import your first product catalog

Head to the Import page and upload a spreadsheet (CSV, TSV, XLSX, or ODS). Telden reads your product codes, names, categories, and supplier information and creates structured SKU records. Each row becomes a tracked compliance subject.

Start with a small catalog — 10 to 50 products — so you can learn the workflow before scaling up. Telden handles large catalogs, but a small first import keeps the review step manageable.

3

Upload supplier documents

After importing, upload supplier evidence — declarations of conformity, test reports, safety data sheets, and other compliance documents. Attach documents to individual SKUs or in bulk. Telden runs automatic classification and AI extraction on every uploaded document.

Name your files consistently (e.g., SKU-CODE_DoC_2026.pdf). This helps both your team and Telden's extraction pipeline identify document types more accurately.

4

Review AI suggestions

Once extraction completes, open any SKU to see the structured dossier Telden built from your documents. Extracted entity details (manufacturer, importer, responsible person), safety warnings, and field values are presented alongside source citations so you can verify every fact against the original PDF.

Green review-state means no blockers remain. Yellow means attention is needed. Red means mandatory fields or documents are missing — focus on those first.

5

Resolve blockers

The Review page lists every open warning, missing field, and conflict across your SKUs. Work through them systematically: accept AI-suggested values, manually fill missing fields, or mark issues as acknowledged if they do not apply to your use case.

Conflicts happen when two documents disagree about the same fact (e.g., different manufacturer addresses). Resolve them by choosing the authoritative source — Telden records the provenance.

6

Export and publish

When your SKU dossier is complete and approved, export it as a structured compliance record. Telden generates publication-ready outputs that you can submit to marketplaces, share with authorities, or archive for your own records. Published outputs are versioned so you can track what was current at any point in time.

Telden tracks publication history — when a newer export supersedes an older one, the previous version is preserved for audit trails.
